ArtPrize Entry Reveals the Faces of Hunger

One in six Americans struggles with hunger. Yet it’s a problem that’s too often overlooked.

That’s why Feeding America West Michigan is taking the conversation about hunger to ArtPrize this fall. We’ve partnered with National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore to bring 30 portraits of food-insecure Americans to this public art competition in downtown Grand Rapids.

Sartore’s photos are on display September 21-October 9 in the DeVos Place Skywalk.

A little generosity goes a long way. It goes even further right now because, from September 13 to October 11, Weingartz is doubling all online gifts, meaning that every dollar provides eight meals. Give now.
