COMSTOCK PARK, Mich., July 28, 2021 — The food bank recently received a generous $22,650 grant from the Superior Health Foundation, a multi-year supporter of their hunger-relief efforts. The funds will bring seven Mobile Food Pantries to locations across the Upper Peninsula.
Each Mobile Pantry sponsored by the Superior Health Foundation will provide roughly 12,500 meals’ worth of food — enough to serve 300 families — consisting of at least 50 percent fresh produce.

Serving local families in need since 1981, Feeding America West Michigan reclaims millions of meals’ worth of safe, surplus food from various sources.
