We are facing the perfect storm: Rising demand and fewer resources to meet the need.
Demand for charitable food has risen by 70.7 percent since 2021, reaching unprecedented levels despite low unemployment and rising wages. People simply can’t keep up with the cost of living. Feeding America West Michigan is bracing for even higher demand in 2026. Join us as we Bridge the Gap between empty shelves and full plates across West Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Together we will meet the need.

Ending hunger in West Michigan and the
Upper Peninsula
Our mission is to provide nourishment and hunger relief resources to our neighbors by amplifying the strength of communities through collaboration and advocacy. We believe that hunger is unacceptable and that our community has the power to change lives.
We live this out through partnering with over 800 agencies throughout our 40-county service area, who help us get food directly into the hands of those in need.
