History
We were founded as West Michigan Gleaners, Inc. in 1981, six months after the Rev. Don Eddy rescued a truckload of carrots from being sent to a landfill. He knew people who were struggling to put food on their tables, and he wanted to help them.
In the 45 years since then, we have provided over 500 million meals’ worth of food to our community.
