We are Northwest Michigan’s regional nonprofit clearinghouse for donated food on its way from the food industry to hunger-relief agencies that assist people in need. With the help of our partner organization, Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan, we distributed 2.5 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 2 million meals, in 2015 in Grand Traverse, Wexford, Benzie, Manistee, Missaukee, Kalkaska, Mason, Lake, Osceola, and Leelanau counties.
How You Can Help
There is a lot of work that still needs to be done to solve hunger in Northwest Michigan. If you are interested in starting a food pantry or in hosting a Mobile Food Pantry, please contact Lorrie Sluiter at LorrieS@FeedWM.org 231.779.0056.
If you would like to support our work financially, please mail checks to 101 Clay Dr. Cadillac, MI 49601 or give online. (Donations are assigned to the branch nearest your street address, unless you request otherwise.)
