COMSTOCK PARK, Mich., June 7, 2023 — Fresh Thyme Market donated $26,300 to Feeding America West Michigan, surpassing the 300,000 meal mark to become a gold partner.
These funds will be used to advance the hunger-relief efforts of the food bank, nourishing thousands of families across its 40-county service area.
In addition to donating funds to the food bank, in 2022, Fresh Thyme Market offered a Grab & Give program which allowed customers to purchase bags full of pantry essentials that were then donated to families in need of food assistance through Feeding America West Michigan.
“Fresh Thyme Market’s generosity and support is much appreciated here at the food bank,” said President and CEO of Feeding America West Michigan, Kenneth Estelle. “Since we are both organizations involved with the food system, we know that our united effort is incredibly important as we work to end hunger.”
