COMSTOCK PARK, Mich., Nov. 14, 2022 — Feeding America West Michigan invites neighbors in need to attend a holiday food distribution at their Comstock Park warehouse, located at 864 W River Center Dr. NE, on Tuesday, Nov. 22 between 1 and 3 p.m. All participants must register online at FeedWM.org/register. Only one registration per household is allowed.

That afternoon, food bank staff will distribute many food items needed for a standard Thanksgiving dinner to registered families.

The first 300 households registered for the distribution are guaranteed to receive food. Registered neighbors should arrive no more than 10 minutes early for their scheduled pickup time. More details can be found online.

This unique holiday food distribution held at the food bank’s main warehouse is more than just an opportunity for neighbors facing hunger to receive extra support during the holidays; it’s also a chance for food bank staff and community members to interact, and for neighbors who receive food assistance from the food bank’s partner food pantries and meal programs to see where much of the food those agencies provide comes from.
