Feeding America West Michigan is in desperate need of a new parking lot.
The weather this year devastated the asphalt outside of our warehouse. It’s dangerous to our volunteers who load and unload donated food, it’s damaging our trucks, and people donating food fight to get to the warehouse. The cost to replace our parking lot will be roughly $400,000 – and starting now, all donations will be matched by the The Peter C. & Emajean Cook Foundation up to $100,000.
The bottom line is that if the parking lot is not fixed, we cannot deliver food.
You, our community, have always worked hard to keep our organization thriving through the years, and we are so grateful for your continued support. We know that, with your help, we will overcome this hurdle and continue to serve our neighbors in need.
If you’re committed to helping the hungry in West Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, you can take an important step to ensure that our work continues for years to come. Learn how planned giving can benefit the Food Bank and you.
