New Holland Brewing to Host Rocktoberfest: A Feast for Families
Foodies, beer geeks, and music lovers take note: On Sept. 29, New Holland Brewing is hosting Rocktoberfest, a three-way pairing of food, beer, and music to benefit Feeding America West Michigan. Guests will enjoy a five-course meal prepared by an all-star lineup of chefs from The Southerner, Salt of the Earth, Grange Kitchen and Bar, and Chicago’s Preservation Kitchen, each taking inspiration from a classic rock and roll album of their choosing. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Walmart Foundation Funds Food Safety at Feeding America West Michigan
This June, Feeding America West Michigan’s Comstock Park warehouse passed its first AIB International Inspection, thanks in large part to funding from the Walmart Foundation. Find out how the foundation’s $28,400 grant was used to improve food safety practices at the Food Bank.

Michigan-based Hold On To Hope debuted its new line of Feeding America West Michigan-branded clothes this August. In addition to spreading awareness about the Food Bank and its mission, 50% of sales will be donated to the Food Bank.
